What is an Abacería?

Historically, abacerías were important establishments in neighborhoods and towns, offering a variety of basic goods. In some parts of Andalusia, the term «abacería» is also used to refer to a type of bar where, in addition to drinks, pickles and preserves sold on the premises can be purchased.
